Florida Missing & Endangered Person Alerts

Public records currently listed by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. Records may remain listed after the original alert activation period. Always verify details with FDLE or the investigating agency and call 911 with urgent information.

What do these alert types mean?
Select an alert type for a plain-language definition and the official FDLE criteria.
Definitions are summaries only. Law enforcement and FDLE determine whether an alert meets the official activation criteria.
FDLE alerts load when this tab is opened.
Recommended: add your Pushover device name to limit delivery to one device. Existing setups without a device name will keep working during rollout.
Alerts User Guide — how rule matching works

1. Choose where alerts go

Enable Pushover, Apple App Alerts, or both on each rule. They are independent channels. Choose an Apple / Android Sound on each rule and use Preview Sound to listen in your browser. Pushover priority and sound remain separate.

2. Match one or more details

Within a rule, separate alternatives with commas or new lines for OR. Use & between terms when all terms must match. * matches any characters and ? matches one character.

3. Remove ambiguity with prefixes

For 911 rules, prefixes can identify the field: UNIT:, TYPE:, CODE:, GRID:, STATION:, TAC:, TEXT:, or ADDRESS:. Example: TYPE:MEDICAL & GRID:680A.

4. Set priority and timing

Quiet is silent, Normal is standard, High is time-sensitive, and Emergency is the strongest level. Emergency Pushover alerts can repeat; use Retry Every and Stop After to limit them. Schedules can limit when a rule is active.

5. Weather, FHP, PCSO and FAA

Use the matching tab for each source. Weather rules match selected alert types and area, FHP/PCSO rules match their source fields, and FAA rules match selected airports and alert conditions. Weather graphics are attached to delivered weather alerts.

6. Test safely

Use the notification test controls to verify a channel. A test does not prove a live rule matches. Save settings after changes, and use the rule’s preview/match control when available.

Priority guide: Quiet, Normal, High & Emergency
Quiet (-1): Pushover uses Quiet priority. Apple / Android Sound is selected separately.
Normal (0): Apple notification uses the default sound; Pushover uses Normal priority.
High (1): Pushover uses High priority. Apple / Android Sound is selected separately.
Emergency (2): Pushover repeats until acknowledged. Apple / Android Sound is selected separately.
Emergency alerts can notify you repeatedly. When selected, use the Retry Every and Stop After settings to control how often and how long.
911 Alert Rules
Comma/newline = OR; & = AND; * = any characters; ? = one character. Optional UNIT:, TYPE:, CODE:, GRID:, STATION:, TAX:, TEXT:, and ADDRESS: prefixes remove ambiguity.

Open the original sources below to confirm information. Historical records and notification graphics are assembled by IONTB from these sources; they are not official government publications. Some features require account access, but these source links are available to everyone.

Map basemaps also use OpenStreetMap and Esri. These are map providers, not government incident sources. Apple, Google, and Pushover deliver notifications; they are not the original information sources.

The IONTB Public Safety Dashboard is an operational information platform that brings together live and recent public-safety data for Pinellas County and surrounding areas. It supports incident monitoring, mapping, research, and configurable alert delivery from one responsive interface.

Public Data Sources
Information is assembled from publicly available sources, including Pinellas County 911 CAD and EMS, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Florida Highway Patrol and FLHSMV, Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, Clearwater Police, the Federal Aviation Administration, the National Weather Service, NOAA’s National Hurricane Center, Pinellas County Property Appraiser, Pinellas County GIS, and OpenStreetMap.
Pushover, dashboard app and web notifications, Facebook, and X are notification or distribution channels and are not treated as authoritative data sources.
Account Access and Notifications
The public dashboard and available public tabs may be viewed without a subscription. Some operational data, account tools, Pushover, and dashboard notification options require an approved account. Access is granted individually and may vary by user.
Notifications are supplemental and delivery cannot be guaranteed. Delivery may be affected by outside services, network availability, browser or device settings, Focus or Do Not Disturb modes, and notification-provider availability.
Privacy and Accuracy
Dashboard incident, location, and property content is derived from public records and public feeds and may not reflect later corrections. Account credentials and saved Pushover credentials are not displayed publicly. Users should avoid redistributing sensitive personal information that may appear in public-source material.

Quick Start
Dashboard Quick Start
  1. Enable Voice: Click once after opening or refreshing the dashboard. The confirmation tone and “Voice enabled” message verify that browser sound and spoken alerts are unlocked.
  2. Viewing Mode: Standard view shows the complete call cards. Compact List is optional, shows calls newest first, and is remembered separately on each browser or device. Single Column changes the standard desktop layout.
  3. Filter Incidents: Limits the calls shown on your screen. It does not create a notification rule.
  4. Alert Triggers: Enter units, grids, call types, or ALL for browser sound and spoken alerts while this dashboard is open. These are separate from Pushover and dashboard app notification rules. Click the box to expand one trigger per line; it auto-saves back to comma-separated format.
  5. Trigger Builder: Builds trigger tokens and appends them to Alert Triggers so you can avoid typing mistakes.
  6. Units by Status: Units are grouped by current status on each call card.
  7. Unit Hover Timeline: Hover a unit chip to see recent status times for that unit.
  8. ALL: Toggles ALL in Alert Triggers for broad new-call alerts.
  9. Clear: Clears Alert Triggers and cancels pending speech.
  10. Alert Incidents: Pick a call type to add it into Alert Triggers.
  11. Alerts: Approved subscribers can create saved rules for Pushover, dashboard app notifications, or both. These rules continue working when the dashboard page is closed.
  12. History Incident #: Use Incident # in History to search directly by incident number.
  13. History Date Range: Logged-in users can search over 31 days (warning shown); guests remain limited.
  14. Link: Copies a share URL with your current alert settings and category on/off states.
  15. Mute: Silences tones/speech while still showing calls.
  16. Category Titles: Click each category header to toggle ON/OFF; OFF categories are excluded from alert processing.
  17. Category Visibility: Categories only appear when they currently have calls; they reappear automatically when new calls come in.
  18. Saved Browser Preferences: Compact List, Single Column, Mute, category choices, filters, and browser Alert Triggers may be remembered on that browser or device.
